Name and Mission Statement.

So I want to call this little venture Reminderville Entertainment LLC. Why? I like the name, why else? Plus I think it's easy to remember. Also I have come up with a very business sounding (read lame) mission statement:

Reminderville Entertainment will be creative, resourceful, bold and meticulous as we strive to provide the most unique, immersive and entertaining experiences and products, while maintaining respect for our customers, employees, partners, community and environment.

Corny? Maybe. But hey lets see how it goes. I can change it later. I say experiences, but as stated before that includes merely, for now, fiction and games. Specifically, card games. So yeah, we is me. Although my fourth game that I will focus on after this silly first year is over will need some real artwork. Probably I will look around for someone who has some game design experience too. Part time of course, I don't foresee making any real money initially. The rest is just integrity. I will try. Starting with the paper. I will use recycled paper or kenaf if I can get my hands on some. Since I'll probably be making cards for me and my cats, I may as well grow the kenaf in the backyard, probably cheaper...but I'm getting off subject.
So lets not be all work. I am definitely going to check out the launch of the WoW card game this week. Also want to run my new Magic Time Spiral suspend deck. Yes I'm that wank that over paid for the Time Walk, Black Lotus reprints. So yeah, I'll cover some real gaming stuff. I liked Hecatomb but the three other people who played it will probably never see my site. Also, I have some early Pirates. And when I say early I mean like a year ago. How many sets can you come out with? It's confusing, but I think it is a fun little game. So yeah, I'll write about whatever games i get a chance to play, but I'll stay focused for sure. I'm working on my little three year business plan and will post when ready.

Watch the debacle friends. As I attempt to generate real money from the game and fiction industries with no experience, no contacts and no time. I will track here in this blog my attempt to start and run a gaming company from my home. I want to contribute to these fields as they have given so much to me. I love gaming and reading and always turn to these activities for relief and de-stressing. This will be a three year project. I don't think I could go much further If there was no success. So here is the layout, the things I would like to provide to the world for fun and profit.
  1. I will come up with a little piece of fiction every other month or so and post it here. I'll submit each piece to a couple places first. If I get a hit I'll link over.
  2. I will put out three little games a year for you to play and maybe help me design.
  3. I will give you details on everything I'm doing to run a little hobby business. I'll report meetings, costs, plans. Everything. Feel free to steal my ideas or chime in with your own or just watch the debacle.
